Software
At this point, we present a selection of software projects that we have implemented and/or supported. Upon request, we’re happy to provide detailed information about each system. We've made a conscious effort to keep the language accessible and avoid sounding too “IT-driven.” However, if anything is unclear, please don’t hesitate to ask—we’re here to help.
CRM and ERP systems
These terms have been widely discussed for years. But what’s the actual difference? CRM (Customer Relationship Management) refers to managing customer relationships. As the name suggests, the focus is on customers and the processes that support those relationships. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), on the other hand, aims to plan, control, and manage all business tasks, resources, and communications in a timely manner. So it’s not just about the customer—it’s about the entire organization.
For this reason, it’s hardly surprising that many CRM systems are increasingly integrating into the ERP world. Whether a standalone CRM solution makes sense always depends on the company and its specific needs. One of the most well-known CRM systems is Salesforce, which comes to mind for many. Salesforce has already been implemented, optimized, and supported by numerous clients. Thanks to its ease of use, the costs are considered justified—implementation and maintenance expenses are quite low. Modifications can be made quickly and easily.
We’ve already gained experience using InvoicePlane. Especially when looking for a fast and effective CRM solution, we can highly recommend InvoicePlane. And the best part? It’s free.
When we first started our business, a CRM system was sufficient. However, after just a few weeks, we realized that an ERP system allowed us to do much more—covering all processes and eliminating the need to work across multiple platforms.
In addition to InvoicePlane, we also used a project management tool and a document management system to handle incoming invoices and other documents. Many companies have had similar experiences.
That’s why it’s essential to carefully consider which features are important and what the future might hold before introducing a system. The key here is to take your time and avoid wasting valuable resources.
In addition to the classic provider SAP, we’re also familiar with rs2, BMD, ERPNext, and Odoo. At A-SQUARE, we use Dolibarr, which—compared to ERPNext (a system we used for some time)—offers a wide range of features and is highly intuitive. Both solutions underwent thorough testing by us and can be self-hosted.
Document management
Many ERP systems already include integrated document management features—such as BMD, rs2, SAP, and Dolibarr.
Nevertheless, implementing a dedicated document management system can be beneficial, depending on specific requirements. DocuWare is one of the most compelling options in this space.
A key consideration is the system’s ability to extract information from documents using OCR (Optical Character Recognition). Without this capability, users are forced to rely on extensive metadata entry, which defeats the purpose.
Automation and custom software
Software can be used to automate and optimize processes. Many of the systems mentioned already offer automation capabilities. Salesforce, in particular, is highly flexible when it comes to adapting environments to different user groups and automating workflows. Another very flexible and intuitive system is JobRouter. It comes with a range of predefined modules that can be configured or customized—and new modules can be created with ease. Naturally, JobRouter integrates seamlessly into existing software landscapes via interfaces. A combination of DocuWare, rs2, and JobRouter is already in use. This setup allows each system’s strengths to be leveraged, enabling optimal implementation of processes such as invoice capture and approval workflows. We’ve also gained experience with Yooz, which focuses specifically on incoming invoice processing.
Retail systems
Another key focus area for us is the retail sector. Since regionality is close to our heart, we begin by presenting the solution from MGM. In addition to retail solutions, MGM now also offers a specialized booking platform (including back-office and website integration) for campgrounds. There are also solutions for museums and other institutions that need to manage group and individual bookings. While MGM’s user interface may appear somewhat “outdated,” it remains highly intuitive to use. We are also very familiar with XStore by Micros, and we know Feratel and Fidelio well.
Real estate systems
In the field of real estate software, we’ve recently had positive experiences with IGEL. In addition to property management, the program offers extended capabilities in HR management, accounting, and ERP. We’re also familiar with Andromeda and Immologic, both of which focus exclusively on property management.
