DMS System
Due to the technological changes of recent years, many documents no longer exist in paper form but are created in digital form. These digital documents are now processed using so-called DMS.

How can we help you purchase a suitable document management system?

Of course, there are a large number of different providers on the document management system market, making it difficult for consumers to find software that meets their specific requirements. We are happy to assist you in ensuring that you don't lose track of your needs analysis and invest money in systems that are not tailored to your individual needs. As independent consultants, we are detached from any marketing interests of the various providers and can therefore put together a package that is right for you. Due to our autonomy, we do not focus on a specific document management system, but we have gained experience with DocuWare and Sharepoint in particular in recent years.

What are document management systems (DMS)?

Document management systems are database-supported systems that manage all types of documents. They serve as a means of organization and coordination with regard to the development, revision, control, and distribution of various documents. The main goal here is to ensure secure archiving. At the same time, the archived documents are made accessible company-wide through the use of the respective DMS. DMS are used, for example, in compound document management, electronic filing, office communication, document imaging, and electronic archiving.

Digital data management also offers optimization potential, such as savings opportunities.

In addition to document management systems, so-called enterprise content management systems (ECM) are also used for electronic document processing. ECM systems include archiving, output and input management, web content management systems, and DMS. This clearly shows that document management systems are part of ECM solutions. Nevertheless, DMS can also be used independently to enable digital document archiving and quick access to documents.

We look forward to supporting you in your needs analysis and the introduction of a document management system!
