2020 fundamentally changed our understanding of work. In many companies, working from home was unthinkable until March 2020. But from one day to the next, it suddenly had to work.

And lo and behold: what was previously considered impossible became reality. But it wasn’t quite that simple.

Many employees were caught off guard by this shift. The challenges ranged from missing hardware to insufficient software to the need to rethink existing processes entirely. Even today, many companies still print large amounts of documents because signatures must be provided manually.

In a home‑office environment, however, that’s not easily possible. As soon as a quick approval from a supervisor is needed, even the most dedicated employees reach their limits. After years of trying to initiate change, a sudden desire for optimization emerged — and with it, new motivation to finally digitalize processes.

Finally! 🙂

Because without the willingness to change, it is difficult to implement digitalization sustainably within a company. External experts can often achieve more, as they bring a neutral perspective to existing structures and help foster openness to change.

As we move toward the next strict lockdown, many companies are now better prepared — for home office, homeschooling, and working from home in general. If you don’t feel ready yet, feel free to get in touch with us.

We wish everyone a peaceful Christmas and all the best for 2021!

Of course, thanks to modern technology, we are available during this time :)
