Trailblazing IT projects
In this section, we’d like to offer a brief glimpse into some of our past projects. At the heart of our work is a commitment to providing tailored solutions for every client. Each implementation is approached with flexibility, cost-awareness, and a strong focus on quality.
Replacing existing solutions and integrating them into the current software landscape
This was one of our most exciting projects. The entire point-of-sale system was replaced and integrated with the existing software environment, including a connection to SAP. In addition to requirements analysis and implementation support, we also provided training sessions and offered intensive on-site assistance during the first few weeks after the transition. Furthermore, an access control system with a complex management setup was introduced.
Process optimization: Incoming invoice workflow
At this point, there are many exciting examples to share. For this reason, we’ll focus on one case that’s particularly relevant to most SMEs: the digitalization and optimization of incoming invoices. To enable this process digitally, the invoice must be available in electronic form and recognizable via OCR, ensuring it can be read automatically. Specialized software then extracts and identifies the relevant data, assigning it to the correct fields. A manual review is conducted to verify whether all fields have been correctly interpreted and assigned. Once confirmed, the invoice undergoes an initial approval. Depending on the company, further approvals may follow. Finally, the data and the invoice are transferred into the ERP system, where they are further processed.
Compared to analog processes, this approach not only saves time but also reduces costs, as automated data extraction helps minimize errors.
Digital personnel files and a digitized HR department
We were able to provide strong support in digitizing personnel files. This means not only minimizing the use of paper, but also reducing reliance on email communication. Employees can access their documents directly within their designated digital workspace. Through an app, they can submit sick leave or other types of absences. Furthermore, the digital HR system enables employees to request business trips and create travel expense reports.
Client management
In the area of client management, we collaborate with Baramundi. Across various projects, we’ve successfully provided centralized support for clients at multiple locations. In addition to maintaining PC and laptop workstations, we also manage and support the entire network and server infrastructure. This setup allows for rapid deployment of new software across all devices.
Secure backup and recovery
Together with client management, we recommend a centrally administered and standardized backup system for all clients. Automated alerts in case of disruptions enable quick intervention, helping to prevent major issues. Especially in light of ongoing ransomware attacks, rapid response and up-to-date backups are absolutely essential.
